Volleyball Recap: Notre Dame Academy Takes a Loss

Notre Dame Academy was the 2-1 winner over Waterloo when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Tritons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates on Saturday.

Notre Dame Academy's offense was headlined by Hadley Stenavich and Chayse Penzenstadler, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Kailyn Kline and her six assists. Addy Madson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Notre Dame Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season. As for Waterloo, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 16-4.

Notre Dame Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Lakeside Lutheran on the 27th. As for Waterloo, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Waupaca on the 27th.
