Montcalm is 8-2 against Bluefield since September of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Generals will be playing at home against the Beavers at 5:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Thursday, Montcalm came up short against Nicholas County and fell 2-0. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Bluefield lost 3-0 to Shady Spring on Monday.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-9, 25-5.

Bluefield's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Montcalm, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Montcalm was able to grind out a solid win over Bluefield in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. Will the Generals repeat their success, or do the Beavers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
