Softball Recap: Dobyns-Bennett Falls Short of Page in the Playoffs

Dobyns-Bennett and Page squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Dobyns-Bennett had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Indians have suffered since March 29th.

Dobyns-Bennett now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Page, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

Dobyns-Bennett does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Page, they will be taking part in a tournament against Rossview at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. The Hawks' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Patriots' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
