Soccer Recap: Lawrence County Comes Up Short

After soaring to five goals the game before, Lawrence County was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They lost 8-1 to the Richland Rangers. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Rangers recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Lawrence County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Richland, their win bumped their record up to 10-7-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lawrence County will welcome West Marion at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lawrence County is facing West Marion at the right time seeing as West Marion is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Richland, they will host St. Andrew's Episcopal at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
