Volleyball Recap: Chelsea Comes Up Short

Chelsea was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lynn English Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Devils of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Chelsea's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lynn English, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Coming up, Chelsea will head out on the road to take on Somerville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lynn English, they will host Saugus at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
