Football Game Preview: Bishop Watterson Eagles vs. Northwest Knights + How To Watch

The Bishop Watterson Eagles will head out to square off against the Northwest Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Watterson knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Northwest likes a good challenge.

Bishop Watterson is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Bishop Hartley: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Eagles blew the Hawks out of the water with a 57-7 final score. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The critical scores for Bishop Watterson came from Carter Bellisari, Ben Uhlenhake, Maddix Nolen, Rocco Purcell, Joe Hayes Iv, Ben Lamielle, Jack McCoy, and Drew Bellisari.

Meanwhile, after only three points in their last matchup, Northwest made sure to put some points up on the board against Dunbar on Friday. The Knights walked away with a 48-35 win over the Wolverines.

Bishop Watterson better keep an eye on Ethan Dixon. He was instrumental in Northwest's win, rushing for 209 yards and a pair of TDs on only 12 carries. Those 209 rushing yards gave Dixon a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen Lilly, who threw for 122 yards and two touchdowns.

Northwest was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 301 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
