Volleyball Recap: Smithsburg Takes a Loss

Smithsburg lost against Boonsboro back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Leopards came up short against the Warriors, falling 3-0. The Leopards have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Smithsburg took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-15, 25-18.

Smithsburg now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Boonsboro, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Smithsburg will square off against Middletown at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Boonsboro, after both having extra time off, they and Williamsport will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on October 7.
