Basketball Recap: Westfield Makes It 16 in a Row at Home

After losing to Noblesville the last time they met, Westfield decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Westfield Shamrocks came out on top against the Noblesville Millers by a score of 57-50 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Shamrocks.

Westfield got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Will Harvey out in front who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Jalen Malone, who went 5 for 6 on his way to 14 points.

Noblesville's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Baron Walker, who went 5 of 11 en route to 13 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Walker a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Vetor, who put up nine points and five rebounds.
