Tuscola won the last time they faced Central A & M and things went their way on Thursday too. The Warriors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Raiders.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Tuscola who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-27, 25-19.

Their offense was headlined by Lilly Kurtz and Sawyer Cleland, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Sicily Moss and her 22 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Tuscola's win bumped their record up to 10-18. As for Central A & M, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-25.

Coming up, Tuscola will take on Martinsville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Central A & M does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
