Volleyball Recap: Herriman Makes It 13 in a Row at Home

Herriman faced Mountain Ridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Mustangs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Sentinels. This was a revenge game for the Mustangs: when they faced off against the Sentinels back in April, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Herriman was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (104-96), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 15-25, 16-25, 25-20, 15-12.

Herriman's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-7. As for Mountain Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 16-4.
