Basketball Recap: Union County Comes Up Short

If Union County was feeling good fresh off their 85-39 takedown of Crittenden County on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Braves fell 77-72 to the Hopkinsville Tigers on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Braves in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Union County's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Hopkinsville, they moved to 15-13 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Coming up, Union County will take on Hopkins County Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopkinsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
