Neumann had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Southwest Florida Christian King 41-0. The win continues a trend for the Celtics in their matchups with the King's: they've now won eight in a row.

Neumann found their leader in freshman Louvens Bazile, who rushed for 71 yards and four scores. Jayden Petit also helped out with an impressive 205 receiving yards.

One reason for the win was Neumann's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for 5.5 sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as five different players picked up one apiece ( Frederic Sainteus also recorded half a sack). Neumann got some further help from Zachery Charlestin: he picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made five total tackles.

Neumann's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Southwest Florida Christian, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 9-2 record.

Neumann didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-46 loss against St. Petersburg Catholic on the 21st. Southwest Florida Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
