Basketball Recap: Griffith Skates Past Whiting with Ease

There's no place like home for Griffith, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Whiting Oilers 72-16. The contest marked the Panthers' most dominant victory of the season.

Griffith's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Whiting, they are on a 24-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Griffith will square off against Munster at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Whiting, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 64-53 defeat against Hammond Bishop Noll on the 5th.
