Softball Recap: Dowling Catholic Takes a Loss

Dowling Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 7-3 to the Urbandale J-Hawks. If the Maroons were looking for revenge after losing 12-9 to the J-Hawks when the teams met back in June of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Dowling Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Urbandale, they moved to 4-10 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the J-Hawks beat Dowling Catholic by a score of 4-0 later that day.
