Basketball Recap: Milwaukee Juneau Snags Seventh Victory in Last Nine Games

On Friday, the Milwaukee Juneau Pioneers beat the Franklin Sabers 81-72.

Milwaukee Juneau has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 83.6 points over those games. As for Franklin, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Milwaukee Juneau will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Milwaukee Bradley Tech at 7:00 p.m. on February 24th. As for Franklin, they will square off against Indian Trail at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Franklin knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Indian Trail likes a good challenge.
