Volleyball Recap: 8:28 Gladiators Takes a Loss

8:28 Gladiators was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Elyria Christian. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Elyria Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

8:28 Gladiators started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-15, 25-19, 25-23.

8:28 Gladiators' loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Elyria Christian, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 15-20-1.

8:28 Gladiators has already played their next contest (against West), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Elyria Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
