Recap: Neligh-Oakdale Warriors vs. West Holt Huskies
The Neligh-Oakdale Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against West Holt, falling 64-37. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Neligh-Oakdale in their matchups with West Holt: they've now lost five in a row.
Despite the loss, Neligh-Oakdale still got an impressive performance from Hailey Horstmann, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of McKenna Boggs, who scored 12 points.
Neligh-Oakdale has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for West Holt, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Neligh-Oakdale will take on North Central at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for West Holt, they will be playing in front of their home fans against O'Neill at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. O'Neill is hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses.
