Softball Recap: Uniontown Comes Up Short

Uniontown lost against Elizabeth Forward back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Uniontown came up short against Elizabeth Forward, falling 15-3. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lauren White was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Graci Rodeheaver, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Uniontown's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Elizabeth Forward, their win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Uniontown will take on rival Belle Vernon at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Elizabeth Forward is set to challenge their familiar foe Ringgold at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
