Volleyball Game Preview: Sierra Vista Dons vs. Wilson Mules

The Sierra Vista Dons will be taking part in a tournament against the Wilson Mules on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Sierra Vista had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Baldwin Park on Tuesday. The Dons blew past the Braves 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Sierra Vista was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-13, 25-11.

Wilson not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 4th. Everything went their way against Franklin as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Mules in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Wilson took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-7, 25-14.

Wilson's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Sierra Vista, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.
