Football Game Preview: Berry Cardinals vs. Cox Mill Chargers + How To Watch

The Berry Cardinals are taking a road trip to take on the Cox Mill Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Berry comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Berry's offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against Olympic on Friday. They had to suffer through a 28-0 loss at the hands of the Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 302nd, while the Trojans are ranked 79th).

Meanwhile, Cox Mill lost 47-21 to A.L. Brown on Friday.

Berry will have to keep a close watch on Sione Latimore and Carter Casteel, a pair of players who had a big impact on Cox Mill's prior game. Latimore picked up 193 receiving yards and three touchdowns, while Casteel threw for 324 yards and three TDs. Casteel is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Cox Mill's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Berry, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.
