Harlingen South came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Edcouch-Elsa Yellowjackets as they made off with a 14-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won nine contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Aundr? Guadarrama made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run.

In other batting news, Harlingen South got a big performance out of Daniel Lopez, who scored three runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kris Cruz, who scored three runs while going 3-for-3.

Harlingen South's record now sits at 12-4. As for Edcouch-Elsa, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Harlingen South will have a chance to go back-to-back against Edcouch-Elsa: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
