Baseball Recap: Eastside Catholic Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous two meetings between Eastside Catholic and O'Dea, and O'Dea kept the tradition alive. The Crusaders fell just short of the Fighting Irish by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday. The Crusaders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Fighting Irish earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Eastside Catholic has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-9 record this season. As for O'Dea, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-12.

As of now, neither Eastside Catholic nor the Fighting Irish have any future games scheduled.
