Riverton had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.6 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Unity Christian Lions 62-35. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 21 points or more this season.

Riverton's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Unity Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Riverton and Heyworth will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Riverton knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Heyworth likes a good challenge. As for Unity Christian, they will take on Arthur-Okaw Christian in a tournament on January 4, 2025.
