Kelseyville had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Del Norte Warriors 12-1 on Tuesday. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matches by seven runs or more this season.

Brock Barrick was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over 6.2 innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs and one triple.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kyle Watkins, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and one double. Max Hommer was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Kelseyville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Del Norte, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-8-1.

Kelseyville has already played their next game, an 11-4 defeat against Marin Catholic on the 23rd. Del Norte does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
