Volleyball Recap: Millbrook Takes a Loss

Millbrook suffered their biggest loss since September 6th on Monday. They came up short against the New Life Camp Storm, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for the Wildcats seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-14, 25-5.

New Life Camp got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Graceyn Shepard out in front who had eight digs and two aces.

Millbrook has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season. As for New Life Camp, the win was the 32nd in a row for them, bringing their record up to 35-1.

Coming up, Millbrook will venture away from home to take on Rolesville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. New Life Camp does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
