Basketball Recap: Jerome Comes Up Short

Jerome lost against Minico back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Jerome Tigers took a 65-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Minico Spartans.

Jerome has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Minico, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jerome will host Canyon Ridge at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Jerome is facing Canyon Ridge at the right time seeing as Canyon Ridge is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Minico, they will take on Twin Falls at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Minico's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.
