Volleyball Game Preview: Roy Royals vs. Fremont Silverwolves

Roy is 0-9 against Fremont since September of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m.

Roy came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Wasatch, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Fremont entered their tilt with Box Elder on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Bees 3-0.

Fremont never let Box Elder on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-23, 25-19.

Fremont's victory bumped their record up to 25-2. As for Roy, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-14.

Roy couldn't quite get it done against Fremont when the teams last played back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Royals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
