After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Holy Redeemer, Scranton Prep was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Honesdale Hornets 9-2. The Cavaliers not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 19, 2024.

Ella Salak spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Scranton Prep got a massive performance out of Emelia Williams, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.
