Softball Recap: Sardis' Loss Ends Eight-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Sardis has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 4.1 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They lost 11-4 to the Arab Knights. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Sardis' loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 26-14. As for Arab, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-17-1.

Sardis has already played their next game (against Etowah), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Arab, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Vestavia Hills on the 19th.
