Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Loss Ends Bishop Kenny's Winning Streak

Bishop Kenny was the 3-2 winner over Beachside when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Crusaders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Barracudas on Saturday. The Crusaders' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Bishop Kenny still got an impressive performance from Alexis Sowers, who had 18 digs. Sowers is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 20 games she's played dating back to last season.

Bishop Kenny wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Middleburg on the 20th. As for Beachside, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Lake Highland Prep on the 20th.
