Whitmore Lake was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in Tri-County. The Trojans beat Summerfield 34-14 earlier in the week.

Britton-Macon/Deerfield moved up to 169 from 204 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Patriots were able to move up by defeating Morenci 56-21.

Mathew Sexton had an awesome week catching the football as Clinton defeated Sand Creek. He caught 4 passes for 243 yards.

TJ Baker threw for 383 yards and 5 touchdowns.

Sexton was the best wideout in the league this week as the Redskins bested the Aggies. Sexton racked up 4 receptions for 243 yards. Jared Sackett helped Clinton's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 74 yards.

Clinton's Baker and Sexton have formed a dream team this season, leading Tri-County in both passing and receiving yards. Baker has thrown for 1,416 yards this season, while Sexton has 24 catches for 761 yards. Leighton Merritt from Britton-Macon/Deerfield leads the league in rushing with 1,349 yards.

Scott Mcnitt's team's Collin Poore is a mere 47 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. In 103 carries Poore has put up 953 yards this year.

One of the league's premier quarterbacks will go head-to-head with its top pass rusher when the Redskins and the Patriots face off next week.

An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Clinton takes on Britton-Macon/Deerfield. The Redskins are in first place, while the Patriots are in third place.

The league will see a high scoring game when Clinton and Britton-Macon/Deerfield face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Redskins comes in having scored 378 this season, while the Patriots have scored 267. Clinton scored 49 points last week as it beat Sand Creek.

The Redskins extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Ernie Ayers' team, 49-0. The victory was the eighth in a row for Clinton.
