Basketball Recap: Steelville Takes a Loss

Steelville lost against Richland back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Steelville Cardinals had to suffer through a 67-34 loss at the hands of the Richland Bears. The Cardinals just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Steelville's record is now 0-3. As for Richland, they pushed their record up to 2-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Steelville will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Belle at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Richland, they will venture away from home to face off against Licking at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Licking will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Richland surely won't give up without a fight.
