Anacoco is a perfect 8-0 against Glenmora since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The two teams, after both having extra time off, will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Anacoco saw some tournament action last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Hornbeck 55-28. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while the Hornets are ranked 269th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, in a tight contest that could have gone either way, Glenmora made off with a 31-30 win over Ville Platte.

Glenmora's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-11. As for Anacoco, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.

Everything came up roses for Anacoco against Glenmora when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 71-14 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
