Stony Point's game  on Thursday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Friday. Everything went their way against the Cedar Creek Eagles as the Stony Point Tigers made off with  a  12-2 victory. Considering the Tigers have won four games by more than seven  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
Stony Point's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Megan Paulk, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.  Zoe Janda also deserves some recognition as  she  stole her first  stolen base of the season.
 Stony Point  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .850. The last time their  OBP was this high was  since  the start of last season.
Stony Point's victory bumped their record up to 6-2-1. As for Cedar Creek,  they are  on  a  12-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
 Coincidentally, Stony Point and Cedar Creek will both be playing Weiss the next time they take the field. Stony Point will head out to face Weiss at 1:00  p.m.  on Friday, while Cedar Creek will head out to face them  at 3:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
