Soccer Game Preview: Geneva vs. Master's Academy

Geneva is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup last Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Circle Christian an 8-0 shutout. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Centurions: they've now won eight in a row.

Geneva's offense was hitting Circle Christian from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Camila Cabito led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Master's Academy and Pine combined for 14 shots on goal last Wednesday, which explains the impressive seven total goals scored. Master's Academy came up short against Pine, falling 7-0. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, the Patriots' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Master's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 16-3. As for Geneva, their win bumped their record up to 11-2-2.
