Soccer Game Preview: El Rancho vs. California

The El Rancho Dons will take on the California Condors at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.

California will be up against a hot El Rancho squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. El Rancho never let La Serna onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Thursday. Even though the Dons got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Daniel Salgado was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

El Rancho's one-goal win came courtesy of Manuel Estrada, who's now up to three this season.

Meanwhile, California sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Santa Fe on Thursday.

California's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-6-2. As for El Rancho, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7-1 record this season.

El Rancho beat California by a goal in their previous meeting on Saturday, winning 2-1. Does El Rancho have another victory up their sleeve, or will California turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
