Volleyball Recap: St. Thomas Aquinas' Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Five

St. Thomas Aquinas entered their tilt with Pembroke Pines Charter on Monday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Jaguars. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Raiders also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Their offense was headlined by Emmi Merhi and Isabella Sangha, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Sydney Guerrier and her 11 assists.

St. Thomas Aquinas' victory bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Pembroke Pines Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.

Looking ahead, St. Thomas Aquinas will take on Cypress Bay at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pembroke Pines Charter will be paying especially close attention to the Raiders' match: after the Raiders face off against Westminster Christian, they'll take on Pembroke Pines Charter again at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
