Columbus entered their tilt with Northside Methodist Academy on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Knights by a score of 2-0.

Katie Sheer paced Columbus' offense, picking up six kills. Sheer got some help from Emma Cicora and her 20 assists. Sheer and Cicora didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Columbus' victory bumped their record up to 21-18. As for Northside Methodist Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season.

Columbus didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Lee-Scott Academy on the 27th. As for Northside Methodist Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against St. Anne-Pacelli on the 27th.
