Soccer Recap: Tuloso-Midway Comes Up Short

Tuloso-Midway managed to keep up with Ingleside until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Tuloso-Midway Warriors & Cherokees lost 5-2 to the Ingleside Mustangs. The Warriors & Cherokees were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 4-0.

This is the second loss in a row for Tuloso-Midway and nudges their season record down to 4-10. As for Ingleside, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tuloso-Midway will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rockport-Fulton at 7:30 p.m. on February 25th. As for Ingleside, they will head out on the road to challenge London at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. London knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Ingleside likes a good challenge.
