Volleyball Preview: Warner Monarchs vs. Herreid/Selby Wolverines        
        
		
             Warner is 10-0 against Herreid/Selby since October of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Thursday. The Warner Monarchs will host the Herreid/Selby Wolverines  at 7:15  p.m. Warner will be strutting in after a  win while Herreid/Selby will be coming in after a  defeat.
 Warner took a loss when they played away from home  on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Roncalli as Warner made off with  a  3-0 victory. The  win was some much needed relief for the Monarchs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Warner took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-9,  25-13.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Warner to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Libby Scepaniak, who  had 14  digs and three  aces. That's the most  aces  Scepaniak has posted  in her last nine  matches. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jordyn Jensen, who  had 23  digs and two  aces.
 She wasn't the only good server: Warner  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 14  aces. They are  a perfect 4-0 when  they serve at least ten aces.
 Meanwhile, Herreid/Selby suffered their biggest  loss since September 10th on Thursday. They lost  3-0 to Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock. The Wolverines have struggled against the Lions recently, as their game  on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
 While Herreid/Selby ultimately came up short, they really made  Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 27-25,  25-13.
 Warner's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Herreid/Selby, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.
 Everything went Warner's way against Herreid/Selby when the teams last played  back in September of 2023, as Warner made off with  a  3-0 win. Does  Warner have another victory up their sleeve, or will Herreid/Selby turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
