Evangel Christian came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Tuscaloosa Home Educators Warriors as they made off with an 8-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lightning, who have now won 16 games by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on TREY HOPE, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was AIDAN CRANFORD, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Evangel Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tuscaloosa Home Educators only posted a batting average of .217.
