Basketball Recap: Engadine Takes a Loss

Engadine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Pickford Panthers 55-27. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-30 back in December of 2024.

Engadine's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Pickford, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Engadine and Pickford could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. Engadine will take on Brimley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 355 places (612 vs. 257). Similarly, Pickford (ranked 264th) will meet Inland Lakes (ranked 83rd) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
