Basketball Recap: Pettus Has No Trouble Against Three Rivers

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Woodsboro, Pettus was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They strolled past the Three Rivers Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 49-30. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 46-37 on January 3rd.

Pettus is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-18 record this season. As for Three Rivers, they dropped their record down to 5-18 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Pettus will venture away from home to challenge Kenedy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Kenedy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55 points per game this season. As for Three Rivers, they will challenge Woodsboro at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Woodsboro has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
