Softball Recap: Rubidoux Comes Up Short

After flying high against Rim of the World last Friday, Rubidoux came back down to earth. The Rubidoux Falcons came up short against the Vista del Lago Ravens on Tuesday, falling 15-3. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Ravens: they've now lost four in a row.

Nuvia Munoz made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-2.

Rubidoux's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Vista del Lago, their record is now 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rubidoux will welcome Indian Springs at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Vista del Lago, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Notre Dame at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Notre Dame's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
