Recap: Durand Railroaders vs. Lakeville Falcons
The Durand Railroaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 36 points or more this season. They blew past Lakeville 76-38 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Durand has managed all season.
Markell Tate continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 21 points along with seven steals. Tate is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Kwin Knapp was another key contributor, going 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points and 0 assists.
Durand is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Lakeville, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
Durand will be playing in front of their home fans against Mt. Morris at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lakeville, they will head out on the road to face off against Hill-McCloy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
