Volleyball Recap: Christopher Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Christopher was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Sparta Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bearcats of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-15.

Ruthie Pillers was nothing short of spectacular for Sparta: she had four digs and four aces. That's the most aces Pillers has posted over her last six matches.

Christopher's loss dropped their record down to 5-22. As for Sparta, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-18.

Christopher didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Zeigler-Royalton on the 23rd. As for Sparta, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Red Bud on the 23rd.
