Casteel's hitters rose to the challenge against a Golden Hawks pitching crew that boasted an average of only 3.75 runs allowed on Friday. The Colts were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over the Holly Springs Golden Hawks. Considering the Colts have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Ryne Barker was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 3-for-3. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Maxx Kane was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-3.

Casteel was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .519. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Holly Springs only posted a batting average of .214.

Casteel pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Holly Springs, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-7.

Casteel didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-3 win against Wesleyan Christian Academy on the 12th. As for Holly Springs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-3 defeat against La Mirada on the 12th.
