Kennedy had won four straight games and Shay Shay Clancy did her part to make it five on Saturday. The Kennedy Knights simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Mount St. Dominic Academy Lions 62-21 thanks in part to Clancy, who went 11 for 20 on her way to 25 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Kennedy's points.

Another player making a difference was Zahniya Castillo, who went 5 of 11 en route to 15 points and seven boards. That's the most points she has posted since back in February of 2024.

Kennedy's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.7 points per game. As for Mount St. Dominic Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Kennedy will take on Plainfield at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Mount St. Dominic Academy has already played their next match (against Union Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
