Orestimba and Le Grand are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Orestimba Warriors will take on the Le Grand Bulldogs at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Orestimba is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Orestimba's last matchup with Gustine could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Friday. Orestimba came up short against Gustine, falling 9-3.

Orestimba saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Donovan Torres, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Le Grand fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Sierra on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 6-3 to the Chieftains. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Diego Martinez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole four bases while going 3-for-4.

Orestimba's record now sits at 2-7. As for Le Grand, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Saturday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Orestimba has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Le Grand struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.

Orestimba came up short against Le Grand in their previous matchup last Wednesday, falling 5-2. Can Orestimba avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
