P.K. Yonge has gone a perfect 5-0 against Cedar Key recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. P.K. Yonge will welcome Cedar Key at 7:00 p.m. P.K. Yonge has given up an average of 9 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Things were looking good for P.K. Yonge after they put the first points on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They came up short against Buchholz, falling 14-8. The Blue Wave have struggled against the Bobcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Alison Sanetz led a balanced group of hitters, scoring two runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Corona, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI and one double.

Even though they lost, P.K. Yonge kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. This was only their first loss (out of three games) when they post 11 or more hits.

Meanwhile, Cedar Key hadn't done well against Ocala Christian recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Cedar Key blew past Ocala Christian 17-2. Considering the Sharks have won three games by more than 11 runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Cedar Key's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-4. As for P.K. Yonge, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

P.K. Yonge took their victory against Cedar Key in their previous meeting on March 4th by a conclusive 18-0. Will P.K. Yonge repeat their success, or does Cedar Key has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
